Drew is a Werewolf, as such he has certain senses and abilities that differ from your run of the mill human. Coupled with his own worldsetting and he is very openly supernatural. But also because of this Drew's heightened sense of smell (and all of the information that gives him) might mean that he'll be able to tell certain things about your character; in particular if your character is also supernaturally inclined or otherwise less-than-human. Then again he might just smell strange things about your otherwise very human character. I want to make sure I'm not stepping on any toes IC/OOC with Drew's abilities and as such have included a short text-box below for anyone willing to fill it out.
Clearly Drew doesn't have any issue with anyone else finding out he's a werewolf so feel free to point out his own supernatural nature if your character would be able to!
Thanks!
Drew's own permissions
PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Totally a-okay. Even with strangers Drew is okay with casual contact, the light brush of a hand etc. However jumping him and trying to kiss him without so much as a 'hey, how are you?' is probably going to get at least a minor shove. The man is a flirt, though, so it can be expected that he'll try to charm your character and he has a very tactile nature thanks in part to his personality and partly due to the wolf.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Drew tries very hard to be a pacifist, except unlike most endeavours he tries at he isn't very good. Bear in mind, however, that Drew has a tandem human/wolf mentality and as such aggression will be met with aggression and violence with violence. He's not afraid of a scuffle.
RELATIONSHIPS: Drew will easily jump into friendships, he might just as easily jump into romance (its part of the reason he ended up a werewolf to begin with.) However one of the big problems right now will be the fact that Drew has had his pack bond severed and as such he will be craving affection and positive relationships, even if he's wary about them to begin with.
MENTAL INFORMATION: Drew doesn't have any mental training of his own. However its important to note that he has the mindset of a human but also a constant wolf presence in his head. If your character is telepathically natured they'll be able to pick up on both of these, his human thoughts are entirely normal however the wolf is interested mostly in basic instincts and feeling.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Drew is a werewolf with a healing factor, he can be easily injured, sure, but he also heals incredibly fast unless injured with heavy doses of wolfsbane or some form of silver-based weaponry.

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? Probably leather?? And he lives (or will be living) on a farm with horses so you'd probably detect that too.
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? Nah go nuts
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? Sure
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? Sure. But he might punch you if you're a dick about it.

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? Nothing that I can think of!
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? Not in general; if there's ever anything specific in a thread I'll try to remember to make a note of it, because him using this ability on her is fine with me
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? yes!
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? yes to this too!

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? Sug...ar? Kittens and pigs, probably, since she hangs out with a tiny adorable menagerie all the time.
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? nah!
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? sure!
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? also cool!

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? Maybe gun powder, faintly of dog.
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? It'd be interesting for him to note that he's used guns or has a dog back home, maybe one here sometime. If that's something he can do?
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? Yes.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? This would be okay with me. He has nightmares about everything that's happened, so if Drew picks up on any of that, we could play that out.
no subject
With reference to JB that'd be a smell that lingers so he'd pick up on that, yeah.
And lastly re: nightmares/emotional state stuff that'd be a thing he could totally pick up on. Even things like exhaustion/anxiety etc have a scent and I imagine if he's having nightmares it'll also show on his face in a way Drew will see it with his enhanced eyesight so this will all work.
Thanks!

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? While she certainly wouldn't have the same cues as a human vampire, there are probably some differences between her and a non-undead troll, aside from what being general better groomed than the other two in-game would account for. Something like sunlight, perhaps, even if she isn't glowing at the time.
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? There's a very good chance he could smell blood in her purse at pretty much any moment.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? Sure!
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? She's not going to take it well at all, because she is generally a mess and very much trying to disguise the fact that she's a mess, but yes!
no subject
The undead part he will indeed be able to notice so we'll keep stock of that (and I'll remember about sunlight too)
As for her purse that's the kind of thing he'd be able to pick up on its just a matter of him maybe not knowing its in her purse and being like "Yo... r u bleeding?" and he'll try not to be too much of a dick about her emotional state!
Thanks for the information :)

Matthew Lin (secretly Abduxel)
Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? He does not smell like brimstone (can you imagine... gross) or anything of the sort, and his physiology is mostly human but perceptibly different, and that probably counts for scent, too. He very frequently will smell like blood or fresh (minor) wounds, because he uses blood to cast magic and often uses his own every morning to make his demon horns appear invisible. If you want, you could feel free to have Drew able to smell the residue of his demonic illusion-magic. ...Also lbr he probably smells like alcohol most of the time because he has a slight uh. problem.
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? Same as above.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? This is fine. He does try to hide his demon-ness to trick people into thinking he's human, but generally it's a terribly kept secret, and at this point I think 95% of his CR already knows - even if the general public doesn't.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? HAHAHA please do. Depending on context, it might get laughed off or it might be taken really badly. But it sounds hilarious either way.

All those regular scents work well too and I'll keep them in mind if/when threading.
And yes the emotional state one is definitely my favourite, I understand if its threaded out it can go one or two ways.
Thanks for the information!

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? Hazel doesn't actually smell dead because her resurrector did a good job preparing her body, but he'll very likely be able to at least faintly smell embalming fluids under the perfume she frequently wears. Gross.
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? Besides the above mentioned, she likes floral perfumes.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? Not on the network, but it's ok in person! She'll try and shut him up immediately though, sorry.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? Yep! Just don't expect her to take it well.

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? He smells like... well, like a reptile, with a faint bit of ozone and leather. When he's in his human form, he'll smell like a human, but that draconian scent will cling.
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? Nah
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? Go for it
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? Also go for it, but don't expect him to be too happy depending on the emotion

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? He probably smells like default vampire, though he stays as hygienic as possible because he hates the smell of death and decay. (With good reason, given his backstory.) Also, he doesn't make much use of colognes because many scents are too strong for his tastes and senses.
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? Because Toby is the sort of vampire that feeds off fresh blood, Drew may likely catch the trace scent of blood on/about him. More so after he's recently fed. Also, if he's been exposed to the sun for some reason, he will smell like ashes or cinders.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? Sure. Drew certainly won't have been the first to have done so.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? Yeah, though I don't know Toby's reaction until I actually assess the situation. But he usually tries to roll with things.

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? Ghouls have their own specific smell in canon and it's often mentioned that Kaneki smells like a female ghoul. Other than that, he will also smell like dead bodies, morgues, hospital, blood, human flesh.
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? Same as above. When Kaneki feeds, the smell of blood, human flesh and dead bodies is highten, but honestly,. you decide!
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? Yes! Kaneki doesn't hide what he is and what his diet is.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? Go ahead, but expect avoidance and him not taking it well.

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? Dorian smells like whatever sort of expensive cologne he slaps on (as well as booze and blood, you go Dorian). Hime smells normal, Owen smells normal but also a little bit like fairies? idk, Gargoyles lumps all magical creatures together in "the Third Race" so I have no idea what that would smell like.
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? nothing I can think of.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? yesssss. Please don't make the Owen/Puck connection entirely, but feel free to go "what the hell man, you smell weird"
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? YESSSSSS
no subject
I won't make the Owen/Puck connection fully, Drew will just think there's something off about him. I imagine Fairies have like idk a floral/sweet or glittery scent so Drew will either identify that or just assume he's a big fan of ladies' perfume.
And yes all good on the emotions front! :P

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? Possibly blood, if she's been casting. I'll be sure and note it in the narration if so.

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? She smells human during the day. At night, he has an earth-like smell to her.
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? Demona, as a gargoyle, is VERY in tune with Earth. If earth smells damp, so she will; if it smells like the ocean, so she will. As human, nothing of notice!
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? Yes!
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? She is in permanent state of rage and pain, but she WILL be nasty about it.

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? Perfume and maybe slightly of ozone?? Or just electricity, as her powers use a neuro-electric interface. Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? He'll smell like an ordinary boy, but, something may just be slightly off about his scent. Like he's a bit older than he looks. Also maybe the smell of the jungle.
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? The jungle, rain, forest. That kind of thing.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? Depending on the what. I'd prefer he's not outted as an evil, mcevil bad guy right now but you're free to identify him as Peter Pan if he can figure it out? Just no fourthwalling in terms of Once Upon a Time Peter's canon. Anything else with the Peter mythos is free reign.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? Peter's a good actor so he'll likely be able to hide how he's truly feeling or emotions from just about anyone. So, I'd say it's unlikely that Drew will ever identify Peter's true feelings but he's totally allowed to say what he THINKS Peter is feeling.
no subject
With regards to identifying your character, that'd only be to do with his species so he's not about to identify him as Peter Pan considering he's just regular ol' human in terms of species.
However with regard to identifying emotional states this would likely be something Peter couldn't hide from Drew regardless of how good an actor he is thanks to the physical nature feelings take. The way Drew identifies feelings is through chemosignals/pheremones thanks to his heightened sense of smell so it has more to do with Peter's body than what he actually wants to convey (for example how dogs always seem to know when their owners are sad and approach them to comfort them). Like for example someone could be appearing very confident but their bodies could still smell like anxiety. If you'd prefer I just don't do this with Peter that's also okay, Drew will probably register these things but I'll never bring them up IC.

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? Skrulls are reptilian, so, uh, probably a little lizardy underneath, more so when he's green. And kree are a whole mess of genetic manipulation, so god knows. Oh. And he probably smells a little like Billy most of the time.
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? apart from lizardy, not really!

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? She works in a cemetery and spends a lot of time around books. Only wears perfume on special occasions, but when she does, it's generally old-fashioned.
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? Okay, so canonly Free Magic smells of hot metal, and it's really unpleasant- Sabriel doesn't smell like this often but he may catch hints of it when she's using necromancy. But it's balanced, canceled out by her Charter magic, so it'll be faint. I don't know what Charter Magic smells like, but a mixture of herbs/elemental power would make sense.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? Sure!

Had a strange question though; does she use the bells here? And would you think there'd be any difference in Drew's perception/effect under the bells thanks to his heightened hearing?

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? He smells of mint and wheatgrass. Mint because he always eats mintleaves, and wheatgrass...because he's always exploring outside, I guess?
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? Mint. So much mint. Enjoy it, it's minty fresh.

alive, he smells like dust, dryer sheets, dry human bones, whatever arts&crafts he was doing before, and probably faint death smells too he still has a ghost and he can summon skeletons so why not

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? While Cu's body seems human, he's made of magical energy. However this energy mimics the body of a human near perfectly. So he'll have all the normal human smells, but I'd say there is probably something off about how heroic spirits smell? Though I don't know what magical energy smells like. So have creative liberties!
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? Heroic spirits take on physical traits based on their legend. So for example, Cu probably killed hundreds of people in his lifetime, so he smells faintly of blood at all times. Also because of he inherently bestial nature, he is described as having an earthy musk. (Which I hope smells good? Idk) Also he might smell of magic in general, and of dog, as he spends a lot of times with his wolves.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? Only if you're ok with Cu doing the same. =P
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? Of course. Cu has nothing to hide.

Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? Moses probably smells like animals, not just because of turning into a wolf but because he surrounds himself with them almost all the time now. Like wolves, cats, birds, Cu Chulainn etc etc
In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? Probably strongly of animal, and definitely a strong wolf scent.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? Probably not in public unless you want Drew to get tackled and told to shut up right the fuck now. IF YOU ARE THEN YES.
Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? I am! It'll probably be good for him.

WAY TO MAKE DREW FEEL INSTANTLY COMFORTABLE 11/10 GOOD JOB!
and yeah he'll probably do it anyway. He's a jerk. But he'll try not to be too public about it he'd just need to make sure Drew knew he was uncomfortable with the idea.
