What is your characters species? Human/Mage/necromancer Do they smell of anything peculiar that Drew might notice? She works in a cemetery and spends a lot of time around books. Only wears perfume on special occasions, but when she does, it's generally old-fashioned. In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? Okay, so canonly Free Magic smells of hot metal, and it's really unpleasant- Sabriel doesn't smell like this often but he may catch hints of it when she's using necromancy. But it's balanced, canceled out by her Charter magic, so it'll be faint. I don't know what Charter Magic smells like, but a mixture of herbs/elemental power would make sense. Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? Sure! Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying and talking about / discussing your character's emotional state? Sure, though he may find himself magically muted if he's too obnoxious about it.
