Well, it's also likely they wouldn't smell like most classic trolls either, just...whatever an alien species might smell like. Something unfamiliar and almost bug-like. It may also be worth mentioning that to a friend in canon she smells minty due to her green blood, but that friend has weird synesthesia-ish abilities so how she smells things probably isn't standard.
