Christ knows what a troll smells like but if there are a couple others in game I'll put them all into a unique category that he can't quite identify (because they wouldn't have been in his home world)

The undead part he will indeed be able to notice so we'll keep stock of that (and I'll remember about sunlight too)

As for her purse that's the kind of thing he'd be able to pick up on its just a matter of him maybe not knowing its in her purse and being like "Yo... r u bleeding?" and he'll try not to be too much of a dick about her emotional state!
