I imagine that Med'an does smell distinct, but I have no clue what exactly it would be like haha XD Maybe human but somehow "spiced" with something else too? In general would you prefer your character to smell like something specific Drew would make note of? he'll be in the med bay a lot, so sometimes he might smell medicine-y. Are you okay with Drew loudly and obnoxiously identifying your character? Sure!
